Obituary Notice in a newspaper cutting
--------------------------------------------------------------
Came to Victoria in Australia in 1889 (he would have been about 20) and moved
to Northam, Western Australia in 1891. He was the first chemist to open there.
He occupied a seat on Northam Council for 3 years and was nominated for mayor,
but withdrew in favour of someone else who he considered more experienced.
